Making time
Every Ark & Cinder piece is made to order. Personalized pieces typically take 2–3 weeks to make, dry, fire twice and finish before they're ready to ship. During busy seasons (festivals and the winter holidays) this can be a little longer — we'll always let you know.
Shipping
- Each piece is wrapped in tissue, cushioned with recycled paper and boxed securely.
- You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships.
- Shipping costs and delivery estimates are shown at checkout.
Returns
Because personalized pieces are made just for you, we're unable to accept returns or exchanges on them unless they arrive damaged or with an error on our part. Non-personalized pieces may be returned unused within 14 days of delivery.
Damaged or incorrect items
If your piece arrives broken, or if we've made a mistake with your personalization, please email a photo to hello@arkandcinder.com within 7 days of delivery. We'll remake it or refund you — whichever you prefer.
Handmade variations
Glaze colours, speckles and small irregularities vary from piece to piece and from photo to photo. These are a natural part of handmade ceramics and aren't considered defects.
